Classroom of Compassion is an LGBTQIA+ arts organization based in Los Angeles, dedicated to healing communities affected by mass shootings.

Since our founding in 2018, we have traveled to over 22 cities across the U.S. to create personalized memorial altars that honor the lives lost to gun violence. Each altar serves as a space for public grieving and remembrance, offering a chance for communities to come together, mourn, and heal. Our work amplifies the voices of those affected, fostering healing and compassion in the face of tragedy.
